Why is my password weak?
Password Strength overview
The best way to protect your account is to make sure that you have created a strong password. To help you with this, we have a checker in place to determine the strength of your password. It will rank your password as weak, medium, or strong. Only passwords deemed to be medium or strong will be accepted.
The password checker tests the password by comparing it to different dictionaries of "common sense" passwords.
A weak password uses one or two common English words which make sense (even if there is a first/last uppercase letter) with or without some "common" addition to it, such as "abc" or "123", etc.
Examples for weak passwords:
- Horse123
- ReallyStrong
Examples for medium passwords:
- GingerCrocodile123
- zbjaip123
Examples for strong passwords:
- aop78zasl@$
- GingerCrocodile123(
